Massive factory farms not bad for environment
The development of massive factory farms with up to 12,500 pigs or 360,000 broiler chickens is not bad for the environment or animal health but could be dangerous to humans according to a report drawn up for MPs.
The report, based on research from four different organisations, will be presented to MPs this afternoon, says news agency ANP.
