Café smoking ban cost-effective
The improvement in the health of staff generated by a smoking ban in cafés and bars outweighs the likely costs of the ban in terms of lost trade, according to new research published by the government’s economic policy advisory unit.
The Netherlands is set to introduce a ban on smoking on July 1.
