Alstom wins gas-fired power plant contract
French engineering group Alstom has won the order to build Electrabel Nederland’s new gas-fired CHP power plant at Lelystad, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The contract for the 870MW unit is worth €400m, said Alstom.
Alstom says some 60% of electricity generated in the Netherlands is produced by its equipment.
