Afghan man arrested at Kamp Holland
An Afghan man was arrested at the Dutch military camp in the southern province of Uruzgan at the weekend on suspicion that he was preparing to blow up the camp.
The camp was searched following a tip off but a spokesman for the defence ministry said no explosives were found, report various media on Wednesday. However items that could be evidence of a potential threat were found in the man’s possession.
The man was still under in custody pending an investigation on Tuesday according to the Telegraaf.
He is one of around 200 local staff at Kamp Holland.
