Law student is Young European of Year
Leiden law student Paul de Kuijer (23) has been chosen Young European of the Year in Berlin and wins €5,000.
The award is an initiative by the Heinz-Schwarzkopf Foundation and is given to a young person who has worked for European integration.
De Kuijer, who has been active in European politics since secondary school, is the first Dutchman to receive the honour.
