Train delays are affecting the Amsteram-Schiphol area this morning after an intercity collided with a crane near the city’s Henk Sneevlietweg metro station on Monday night, seriously damaging the rails and overhead cables.

Three people were slightly hurt and the crane driver was taken to hospital, reports ANP news service. According to ProRail, delays between Amsterdam and Schiphol will continue until Tuesday evening’s rush hour.
