More space to be found for natural burials
The number of people wanting to bury their loved ones under trees, in woods or fields is growing and more space is being found for environment-friendly burials, according researchers at Wageningen University, quoted in Tuesday’s Telegraaf.
There are already natural grave sites in the Veluwe healthland region and in Limburg, with another due to be added near Winschoten in Groningen, if local objections can be overcome.
