Train delays between The Hague and Rotterdam

Train services are being affected between The Hague and Rotterdam this morning following a lightning strike on Sunday in Delft.

The strike destroyed several ‘large technical components’ according to ProRail, and these have to be replaced. Passengers should expect delays of between 15 and 30 minutes.
One person was killed after being hit by lightning on the Wadden Sea island of Texel on Sunday.
