Dutch take five swimming medals

Marleen Veldhuis took the bronze medal in the 50 metres freestyle at the World Swimming Championships in Melbourne this weekend, taking the Dutch medal total to five.


Earlier Veldhuis took the silver in the 100 metres freestyle and the Dutch women’s team took bronze in the 4×100 freestyle.
Peter van den Hoogenband took silver in the 200 metres freestyle and Inge Dekker won bronze in the 50 metres butterfly.
