Building sector grows 7% in 2006
Turnover in the Dutch construction sector rose by 7% last year, the national statistics office CBS said on Monday. There was growth across all sectors, but road and water booked the sharpest increase at 10%.
Meanwhile, building group Arcadis on Monday announced a 23% increase in net profit to €1.2bn, with net profit up 34% to €44.9m.
