Akzo Nobel to float up to 30% Organon
Akzo Nobel is planning to float between 20% and 30% of its pharmaceuticals subsidiary Organon within the next few weeks, the chemicals group said on Thursday. Organon’s operating profit fell €10m to €74m last year, the company said. Turnover rose slightly. The group as a whole booked a 6% rise in turnover to €13.7bn in 2006.
