Father Christmas AND Sinterklaas
Father Christmas is fast catching up with Holland’s own Sinterklaas. While the Dutch good holy man gave 50% of the population presents on December 5, his more famous Anglo-Saxon counterpart will do the same for another 49% at Christmas, TNS Nipo reports. One in five households celebrates both festive days.
