Dutch police hunt bridal pair caught on camera in tulip field
Dutch police have launched a social media campaign to track down a newly-wed couple who were posing for photographs in a field of blooming tulips on Saturday.
The couple were photographed from a police helicopter and police want to hand the pictures over to the happy couple.
‘Which bridal pair are by chance on the police helicopter picture?’ the Twitter message reads. ‘Saturday 2/5 15.40 Voorhout. The pictures are yours.’
Reactions to the police campaign have generally been warm although some people have questioned why the police were taking aerial photographs of the bulb fields in the first place.
Update May 4: The happy couple – a German man and Chinese woman – have come forward and say the pictures made their special day even more special, reports Nos.
